The original Marty's Gourmet Mushrooms (MGM) started out as a backyard steak
sauce. One day while making some Mushrooms to compliment a hearty New York Strip
I found myself creating a recipe that not only delighted the flavors of a mouth
watering steak, but once sautéed with earths natural wonders, produced
a distinctive and extraordinary taste. After one bite and for the past three
years I indulged on perfecting what has come to be known as Marty's Gourmet
Under the watchful eye of Chef Martine, the mushrooms, spices and seasonings
are cooked under dedicated conditions to create a savoring taste. The finished
product is arranged for you in eight ounce servings. MGM has a shelf life of
eight weeks in the refrigerator or frozen for one full year. To prepare, you
can choose heating in a skillet or microwave for 3 minutes. These serving sizes
have many great values, for instance when grilling steak, chicken, fish, shrimp
or other favorite entrees baste the cuisine with the sauce and you will get
great results. Customers tell us that they are putting them in soups, pastas,
salads, meat loaf, and omelets.
MGM has two products for your pleasures, Original Style, which is great with
everything, especially meats and vegetables. While the Roasted Garlic tastes
great with Seafood, Italian and European dishes. My personal favorite is fresh
Caesar salad with grilled Cajun chicken and my Original Style Mushrooms.
In the weeks to come, MGM will introduce two BBQ sauces, a Traditional Red,
and a unique Mustard Sauce. MGM also has a variety of stuffed Portobello Mushrooms
and a Roasted Garlic Cream Cheese dip.
